The Ambivalence Of Abortion :: essays research papers

The Ambivalence of AbortionWhether or not spontaneous abortion is morally effective or wrong, the fact remains that a womanhas the right to dispatch her own decisions. If a woman decides to have an abortionit is her right to do as she pleases with her body. It is understandable thatmany whitethorn disagree with abortion existence legal, but that is no reason not to allowothers to have a different opinion. Nevertheless, the question of whetherabortion is morally right should be left wing up the conscience of the woman whom ismaking the decision and not done judging eyes not going through the samesituation. in that respect ar more pros than cons to having an abortion. For instance, awoman with a family of four who are barely surviving discovers she is pregnant. She decides to have an abortion because she cant afford the baby. That capacityhave saved the world of another sad story of a mother abusing and neglecting herunwanted child. Unfortunately, sometimes a mother can excr ete the risk of death ifthey go through with the pregnancy. Would it be fair to let the mother of twoyoung children die because SOME PEOPLE dont take in abortion? On the otherhand, it may be on-key that young women are taking advantage of the fact that theycan substantially have an abortion. Some say they are substituting birth mark withabortion. Nevertheless, no one ever said we cant place restrictions onabortion but we cant let one bad apple spoil the substantial bunch. The fact remainsthat although some might take advantage of the situation, it is unconstitutionalto deny the opportunity to someone who REALLY has no other alternate butabortion. Every woman (and person) has the right to make their own decisions. No one has the right to deny another of their own opinion. Some may not believein or agree with abortion and thats suddenly fine but it does not give themthe right to deny others of the option. Finally, a woman has the right todecide whether or not to have an abortion and whether or not to feel guilty
